Your PTA Committee
The role of the PTA is to raise money to help the School provide materials, resources and facilities for the benefit of everyone who uses it and assist in building a community of parents and staff. The PTA is made up of a committee of parents and staff who meet regularly to discuss fundraising inititatives and organise events. We are supported by a team of parent-volunteers who give their time to help out at these events.
The PTA was recently set up in May 2017. Throughout the school year we will organise a variety of fund raising and social activities which will have dual purpose: to raise funds and to bring parents, children and staff together in a social atmosphere.
How You Can Help
The more we raise, the more our children gain. Remember this is your PTA, raising funds for the children of the school to support their education and school life in a variety of exciting and inspiring ways. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to add your name to the list of parent-volunteers if you would like to be actively involved.
The PTA have also teamed up with a charity called School Angel where funds can be raised through online shopping with over 2,700 retailers registered with the site, including Amazon, John Lewis, Argos and Sainsbury's. Retailers donate a percentage of what is spent to our school to say thank you for shopping with them. You do not have to set up an account with them, you simply just follow the link below and then click on the logo of the shop you wish to shop with. Many of us shop online making this a really easy way to raise funds for our children. Last month alone we raised £89.56 which is fantastic - thankyou all. To shop via School Angel please click here
The PTA at North Islington would be extremely grateful if anyone would like to donate any unwanted gifts which we can use for raffle prizes at one of our events throughout the year. If you are able to help in this way THANK YOU. Please pass the item to a member of the admin team.
We are sure that our PTA will continue to grow and we thank you in advance for your support. We thank the current parents for their support and look forward to this continuing in the future.
